The aim of this publications is to speak about Mellieha and to give interesting and useful information that can be of help to visitors from Malta and other countries. It will serve as promotional material for our town as it will provide a few facts and valuable, tghiough brief, information to visitors who are new to the town and do not knows it so well.
We plan to give our booklet as wide a circulation as possible abroad in order to make our town known and to publicise its beautiful environment its pleasant way of life, places of interest and particular activities that it offers.

This booklet compliments other worthy and comprehensive publications about our town of Mellieha that have already been issued. At the same time, it looks at other aspects regarding the town, it presents different material and it has a specific purpose. It aims to show th dynamic nature od this town ; where every member of the community is appreciated, has a significant role to play and can be fully participatve in the life of the community.
All town activity centres around family life, which is greatly cherished and lovingly nurtured. Family life is , in turn, supported by civic and voluntary groups, or by individuals, for the common good. Each body has its own identity, objectives, programme and charisma, but all entities share one common aim: to be service to the community and to collaborate in promoting its well being.
